Senate President Tito Sotto said that the best option for former Ako Bicol party-list Rep. Elizaldy Co is to face the allegations against him.
In an interview on Bilyonaryo News Channel’s On Point, award-winning broadcast journalist Pinky Webb asked Sotto about the statement of Co’s counsel, Ruy Rondain, who said he would not recommend that his client return to the country amid serious threats to his life.
“I would have a different opinion. If I believe in my client (is innocent), I will tell my client to face the allegations and prove them wrong,” Sotto said.
